The Yankalilla Football Club was established in 1889, and is well known as a family friendly football club. Participants range from Auskick (boys and girls) through to senior grades, for both men and women. It is affiliated with GSFL (men’s) and GSFLW (women’s) competitions.

The Yankalilla Football Club is a welcoming family club which provides a fun, safe environment for all participants. Saturday home games are a hive of activity, with the morning filled with boys and girls enjoying some modified football out on the field, and the canteen and coffee van buzzing with volunteers. Senior men’s football fills Saturday afternoon, with supporters enjoying the action from the sidelines, with the smell of steak sandwiches.

Football is played on Saturday’s (men’s) and Sunday’s (women’s). Saturday football starts off nice and early with Auskick, then moddies, mini’s, junior colts (u14), senior colts (u17.5), B-grade and A-grade. Girls can play in the boys competition up until u14’s. Women’s football is played on Sunday, and consists of u13’s, u16’s and open women’s.
